There's a lot of instrumentals on this album for someone who can't play any instruments, haha. This song has a much more serious and aggressive tone than most on the album, which is kind of funny when you consider that the only instrumentation is piano, drums, and a synth music box. The track was originally written to accomodate a guitar, but the person I was set to work on the track with had to back out due to life complications. I was still pretty satisfied with the track, so I put it on the album anyway. This track may get revisited before the end of 2014 and re-imagined the way I wanted it to appear in its initial incarnation. That said, it's still a pretty good beat in my opinion. Hope you enjoy!
